Collecting

I work for Reading Horizons, a company that sells a systematic and sequential phonics program using Orton-Gillingham principles of multi-sensory instruction. My responsibilities center around home-use sales. Homeschooling families, struggling readers, adult literacy seekers, and sometimes people with ESL concerns cross my path each day. Homeschooling moms are quite communicative reaching out for support and answers, which results in amazing blogging. In the process of exploring the homeschool market, I often find wonderful articles and ideas for not only homeschooling, but also homemaking, parenting, and many avenues of life-learning in general. I've begun the process of collecting some of my favorites into one place by creating this blog. In the community section of the website www.readinghorizonsathome.com, our home-use company blog is a great place to learn more about reading skills. Shantell posts frequently from her expert knowledge about dyslexia and other learning challenges. I mostly post there about life experiences relating to reading and whatever is happening in our division of the company. But here in this blog is where I'd like to collect other good things along the way.
